When we woke up and realized the flooding was taking over the area, we all ran helter-skelter looking for a place where we could find safety. We rushed to the storey building next to our house while we watched the water rising with every passing minute.
Then a lady next to me shouted, “Where’s Agya Ansah? He’s nowhere to be found.”
We were all scared by the rising floodwaters, but some of us gathered the courage, entered his compound, and started knocking on his door. “Agya, are you in there? Come out, there’s flooding.”
His house was surrounded by water, and the water level was almost up to my knees. I’m not a tall guy, but my knee means the water level was crazy. We knocked on every door in his house before we heard him shouting, “I’m here. I’m fine.”
“No, you can’t be fine. Come to the storey building before you get drowned. The whole neighborhood is going under water.”
I could feel the reluctance in his voice, but those of us outside could see the raging flood gushing everywhere. One of the guys with me said, “Let’s break the door and get him out before he dies.”
While we were contemplating what to do, the doorknob turned slowly. Then the door opened. He was wearing only a pair of knickers with his chest bare. I shouted for him to go back inside and wear something. Then he pointed behind him and said, “My children, no one should hear this, I’m begging you. I’m with a woman. She in there.”
Then the woman came out. We all screamed, “Eiii, Aunt Adwoa! What are you doing here?”
She had a cloth wrapped around her chest and was wearing quarter jeans. We all knew her. She has a provision shop in the neighborhood where everyone buys from. What took us by surprise was the fact that we all knew she was married. She said, “I only came to visit, ooo, and the rain kept me here. Please, this should stay here. I beg you, in the name of God, or else I’m dead.”
We were shocked, but we went on with our rescue mission. They had seen the flood, but they were scared to come out because they thought people would see them. So even as the water level kept rising, they stood on a center table, hoping it wouldn’t reach them there.
I Called My Girlfriend And Another Man Answered The Phone
We helped them out, but the way we handled it, we made it look like we had found them in different places. We were three guys who found them. We agreed it was going to stay between us just to preserve the man’s integrity and the woman’s marriage.
When the rain was over and the floodwaters receded, the three of us helped the man put his place back together while the woman went home. If a man his age and a woman her age were able to do this, then who are we to judge this generation when it comes to cheating?

Hmmmm
I’m sure they have learnt their lessons.
Quite unfortunate Agya decided to do it with a married woman. That’s my only problem, otherwise who am I to criticize their actions.
