Three months before my wedding, I got intimate with a lady I have known and seen around for years. It was a very casual kind of relationship, just the usual hi, hello, how are you doing, and sometimes a little joke here and there. But as life would have it, one day she came over, and it happened so quickly and so fast that I didn’t even know when it happened.
It was an unintentional sin. After, it was all said and done, we both wore our guilt and shame like heavy clothes and walked away, hoping never to revisit the story again. I even tried to convince myself that I was just sowing some wild oats before marriage.

Three months later, I woke up one day, and it was my wedding day, the day I was supposed to get tied down to one woman for the rest of my life. It came and went.
I have been hiding this secret from her ever since, a secret she still doesn’t know about, and I do not know how to tell her. The guilt eats at me on random Tuesday afternoons, in the middle of dinner, or when she smiles at me with so much trust in her eyes. I know I messed up, and I don’t know if taking this to my grave is protection or just another lie.
You see, four weeks after the incident happened, the lady called to inform me that something had entered, that she was pregnant and carrying my child. She insisted she was going to keep it against all odds, whether rain or shine, whether I liked it or not.
I listed all the reasons I could possibly think of why she shouldn’t keep it, explaining that I am a married man and cannot have a child outside of marriage because it would break the foundation we were trying to build. I told her our marriage was too new to be given this kind of trouble.
I even brought up my finances, which are nothing to dance and joke about, though they are good enough to put food on the table and sustain our lifestyle.
She was also an apprentice learning to become a designer. Having a baby, she admitted, would affect her studies and slow down her progress.
That was how I agreed with her to terminate the pregnancy, and I confided in a nurse friend who recommended a drug for me, saying it was painless and seamless with just one touch.
I met up with her that evening before I left home to meet my new bride and gave her the medicine, making sure she understood all the guidelines before I left. Days later, she called me t had worked and that we were good. I was finally able to heave a deep sigh of relief.
But this girl has scammed me because, five months since it all happened, she is still very much pregnant. It turns out she flushed the medicines as soon as she got home, and she didn’t even think twice about it. I have gone to see her with my own physical eyes. Nobody came to tell me. I have seen it myself. She is heavily pregnant now, undeniably showing.
The harm has already been done, so the anguish and anger in me cannot even change anything, because what at all can I do to a pregnant woman who may be carrying my child? Nothing, absolutely nothing. But I am a man in very dire trouble.
Please, who should I inform first, my parents, my wife, or who? I am not ruling out a DNA test after she delivers, but would that only prolong the issue, or should I let the cat out of the bag before then? What if it later turns out that the child is not even mine?
So this is what makes the issue even more complicated: my wife is still not taking seed after several efforts since our marriage, and she is desperate too.
My wife works and resides in another town, and most often she travels down to see me, but I haven’t had the courage to let her know anything yet. I cannot even start the story. I may find a way to end it, but to start it, I have not found the courage yet.
I Called My Girlfriend And Another Man Answered The Phone
Where do I start? How do I navigate through this without jeopardising my marriage? How do I relate to the lady too? Am I justified in feeling betrayed? I mean, I begged her to terminate it. I asked her to let it go. I begged her, and she forgave me.
She is due in a few months, so time is running out fast. We need to do something about this.

You’re obviously a neophyte to be played by the young lady.
I am beginning to understand why one guy on this page tend to rain insults in his comments. I am not gonna go that route but you get me. I think you just wanted your story to be uploaded here, whatever for, only you know. Seriously if I comment, it wouldn’t be good. Fucking useless piece of material.
Time is running. You’re only postponing the obvious. Get someone your wife respects to break the news to her. Alternatively, break the news to your parents first. Then let them approach your wife’s parents to intervene. Prepare to apologize and plead like you’ve never done in your life and hope for the best.
Nameless, let he who hasn’t sin before cast the first stone
Regi, since she kept it.she is at fault. Do your best to sort her out. She knows you’re married. Let her know that if she wants you to b there. She shouldn’t text or call you or make it public. Keep your family safe. Let you and your wife think of getting a child. Some truths are best sent to the grave or at the right time. Keep your wife very happy and don’t get angry at her so that if she finds out one day she can reflect and forgive you in time. Best of luck
He wasn’t dating this girl
They were not together, just hi and hello
She just came around and screwed him
He should just take responsibility?
Come on, he has to wait and verify if the babu is his. I believe the lady was already pregnant and was looking for someone to pin it on and our guy fell for it cause he couldn’t keep it in his pants. Paternity test first, then afterwards decide what to do.
