The very day we recognised that we liked each other, we both professed our undying love for each other and said we were going to do everything in our power to make sure we worked. We started dating, and I worked hard towards that goal. But Kobby had redirected his focus somewhere else. I was too focused on something entirely different and didn’t see it coming.
The next thing I knew, Kobby was getting married. Heart palpitations didn’t even come close to describing how my heart was feeling. I felt like I could just remove it from my chest and be free. Of all the people he could marry, it was his ex-girlfriend he went back to marry.
His family were very much aware of my position in his life. His sisters called to apologise on his behalf. His elder brother, Yaw, called one evening in the middle of me crying over spilled milk. We talked about how much I loved Kobby, how much I had planned for us, and how badly I wanted to marry him. He listened and apologised over and over again, as if he was the one who broke my heart that way. I told him, “You don’t need to worry your head over it. The one who has broken my heart is on his honeymoon enjoying his life. You don’t apologise for his sins.”

The next day, he called. The day after that, he called again, and we spoke. Soon, I was getting better. The wreck of my relationship with Kobby no longer had a hold on me because I soon started dating his elder brother. It was nothing like dating Kobby. He wasn’t mine and was never going to be mine since he is married.
Some months after, I thought it was my eyes playing silly games on me when I saw Kobby’s name on my phone calling. We met during lunch break, and we ended up in a hotel and had sex. It became a thing for us. Kobby was cheating on his wife with me while I was sleeping with his elder brother.
I thought about it and felt it wasn’t right, so I stopped seeing his elder brother, Joe. But with Kobby, I just couldn’t stop seeing him.
As time went on, I met Fiifi. He professed his love, and I accepted him. He was never my kind of man, but I wanted to give it a try, and I did. He is not all that good-looking and has a bad fashion sense; his money and brains make up for it. He had girls all over him. I didn’t like it, so I broke up with him and linked up with his elder brother, Kwaku.
Kwaku is good-looking, richer than Fiifi, and knows his way around a woman’s body. Even when Fiifi was getting married, Kwaku was the one who broke the news to me to soften the blow in case I later found out from the grapevine. I didn’t mind at all. Joe is married, Kobby is married, and even Kwaku is married. Fiifi getting married wouldn’t bother me a little.
What is most shocking about this is that Fiifi has found out about us. He has even told his brother, Kwaku, that if it was me he wanted that much, why couldn’t he divorce his wife and come for me? They are even having very serious issues, but I am not the reason why.
The last time Kobby came to my neighbourhood, he came home to sleep with me. He spent a day in bed with me while he told his wife another story.
Kobby is not aware of me and his brother Joe, but Joe knows whenever Kobby comes around. From the way he talks, he clearly doesn’t like it and is jealous of it, but he can’t be vocal about it. Fiifi knows I am still going out with his brother, so he doesn’t talk to me, which I don’t mind.
Is There A Man Out There Who Doesn’t Cheat?
As for Kwaku, if he thinks he would divorce his wife and marry me, then that is a big fat lie.
I don’t believe in love anyway, so I have sex for pleasure. That’s why I’m still with Kwaku because he gives me that, and yes, Kobby is good too.
I don’t care what anyone says. I’m just living my life. All these problems you people are facing in marriages, I really don’t want to be part of it. I am my own businesswoman and have a 9 to 5. In the future, I could try to have two kids and have them all to myself.
