He lives in a new site so going to his place is difficult sometimes. Hardly would you get a commercial vehicle going to his place. The first time I was there and was about to leave he told me, “Wait let me get an Uber for you.”

He got me the Uber, thinking he paid for the ride. I got to my destination and I paid over GHC100 as fare. I was very disappointed but didn’t make any fuss about it. This is a six-month relationship. I don’t take anything from him and he doesn’t give me anything too. I loved him and he said he loved me too, so all was well.

He asked me to visit and I went. Again, when I was leaving, he called Bolt for me. When the driver arrived, I asked him to give him money and he told me, “The price might go up. So when you get to your destination, I’ll send him Momo.” I got home and tried calling him. His number was off. I paid the driver. When he came back online, I told him to refund and he promised he was going to do it. He never did.

Days ago he was like; “Eiii it’s been a long time since you visited oooo. Why don’t you come over this weekend?” I answered, “Come this weekend so I pay my own fare? I’m not coming. Unless you pay a taxi to come for me.”

He told me I was not a hookup girl to be asking for fare when visiting. I got angry and told him, “Oh I know why you stopped patronizing them. You couldn’t pay their fares so you opted for where you can get it for free, right? Please, the shop is closed.”

We are not talking and I don’t mind. There’s nothing to lose and everything to gain. What I don’t understand is his constant messages for me to come for my things in his room. I’ve told him to send them through delivery or burn them. He still sends text and voice notes asking me to go for them. I know he’s setting a trap for me so that when I get there, he’ll use me for dessert.

He should keep the things or give them to his next girlfriend. No weapon fashioned against me shall prosper.
