Everything I know currently about my husband, I learned through his messages with his side chick. I want to leave the marriage, but each day, I give it one more day, hoping something new will happen and make this marriage worth it.
I know her. Her name is Juliet. They are seminar mates. He told me about that seminar and also told me he met a lady called Juliet, who he later found out grew up in the same town as him, but they never met in person until that seminar. I remember telling him it was a small world, so it shouldn’t amaze him to see someone he grew up around but never met.

One evening, I saw a call on his phone. The name was Juliet. Another early morning, Juliet called, and then I saw a text on his phone with Juliet’s name on it. I became suspicious. Instead of asking what was going on, I found out myself. I sneaked through his phone and found out the friendship they had was no longer friendship. It had turned into a love affair. Juliet knew he was married but didn’t care.
I angrily woke him up and showed him the messages. “You met this lady a few months ago, now she’s missing the way you kiss her and can’t wait to do it all over again? Are you this cheap? What’s going on?”
He knelt down and asked me to lower my voice so I didn’t wake the kids up. He said he didn’t know what came over him and that the lady kept drawing closer, and he fell for it. He held my legs and placed his head on my knee while kneeling down and begging me. My heart was racing with anger, but somehow, it raced to a calm spot. I looked at him and felt I should forgive.
It didn’t happen that very night, but slowly, forgiveness happened because he accepted his fault and promised not to let it happen again. Right in front of me, he blocked the number and deleted the messages and the number from his phone.
Less than a year later, and I’m finding out these two never left each other. My husband only changed her name on his phone from Juliet to James and continued from there. Their messages were very intimate, and this time, I learned about everything I didn’t know about my husband.
My husband, at some point, became very quiet in our marriage. He wouldn’t tell me what was wrong, but I could see he wasn’t alright. He didn’t eat his food. He was on his phone talking to people every day. He didn’t give me housekeeping money for weeks. I paid the kids’ school fees for that term. I prayed for him. I asked God to take away his troubles and bring him back to a happy life again.
Unbeknownst to me, my husband tried travelling abroad, and the agency ran away with his money. He didn’t even get his passport back. My husband had never mentioned to me that he was travelling abroad, but Juliet knew everything, and she even contributed money to the trip. My husband was pouring his heart out to her, and she was promising him that everything was going to be fine. She sent my husband money to put in his pocket. My husband told her his life would have ended if he hadn’t met her.
My husband was driving a company car but one day came home without it. He told me the company was going to change the car for him. He stayed home for one month without going to the office. He said he was on leave. He was actually on suspension for one month, and the company took the car because he wasn’t using it for the reason it was given to him.
I didn’t know about this until I read it in the chat between him and Juliet. It looked to me like that lady had become his everything, including his emotional sounding board. My husband would be sacked from his job, and I would not know it, but Juliet would know and would be sympathizing with him.
I asked myself questions. Why would my husband talk to her freely but not me? Do I scare him? Am I too loud? Am I not the kind of woman a man tells his troubles to? Their messages made me doubt my self-worth, but in one of their messages, he told Juliet, “She’s not a troublesome wife. I would have left her long ago.” When Juliet responded with smiling emojis, he added, “It’s also because of the kids we have, but trust me, if I travelled abroad, I would have ended things with her and brought you in to marry you.”
Is There A Man Out There Who Doesn’t Cheat?
That message was bittersweet. I felt he was lying to her, maybe to get her money, but you can’t trust a man’s lies even if they’re not meant for you, so I told myself I would leave the marriage one ordinary day and not come back again. He wouldn’t see it coming. It’s the reason I’m gathering this evidence so when the time comes, it will speak for me.
We have two kids and a house together. The house is not yet complete. We are living in the completed portion while we save to do the rest. I will wait silently. The kids will grow a little. This house will be completed. Hopefully, if he hasn’t travelled abroad with Juliet, we’ll know who’ll walk out and who will stay.

Ei some people are really breaking homes. A partner who partakes for his or her home to be broken is really not worthy of one’s trust. Take heart Deloris.
No matter what happens please stay with your kids in that house. The worst case scenario if he leaves, you can rent the house out, and rent a smaller place and use the income for upkeep of the house.
He will eventual come back to you if you manage your life well.
Don’t let his flirtatious attitude break anything in you, be a strong woman.
Your husband will never find a woman as great as you, so he will eventually come back after he has gone and failed.
