It was love at first sight for me, so I decided to do everything to make her mine. I got her number, and we started talking. She loves a lot of the things I love, and we both have a lot in common. I said in my head, “It will be very easy for us if we fall in love.”

I asked her on a date, and she accepted. I suggested a nearby beach, but she said she didn’t like the sound of the waves, so we should go to a nearby restaurant, which I accepted. In my mind, we were going to talk over a drink or two. I ordered a drink, and she did the same. A few minutes later, she asked, “Is that the only thing we are going to drink?” I answered, “Oh no, feel free.”
She ordered banku and tilapia. The food was served after 9 p.m. A few minutes later, she had conquered the food and was battling with the tilapia’s head. When she saw the waitress, she called her and ordered jollof and chicken. She said, “I’m taking this one home for tomorrow. I don’t want to cook.”
It was love at first sight, but the second sight erased everything I thought was love. I felt she intentionally lured me to the restaurant so I could cater to her hunger. Apart from the food, the conversation was poor. The connection was on and off, and she didn’t exhibit the depth I would expect from a woman I want to go the mile with. She was so much into the food that nothing else mattered.
Would you give such a lady a second date, or am I right to say, “Adiós, amigo”?

c’mon her’s was too much!!
even after the banku and tilapia she shouldn’t have ordered for jollof rice lol
Ohhh maybe she was very hungry 🤭
you’re right to let her go, but you can give her another chance, shape her to match the type of woman you are looking for
