My husband meets a woman on the bus, takes her number, saves it, and immediately starts telling her he’d take her around the world if she were his girl. If he meets a woman while walking, he’d ask for her number and maybe even walk her to wherever she was going. Then, when he gets home, he’d text her and say, “I miss you,” just minutes after meeting her.
First of all, how is that even possible?
We’ve been married for a little over four years now, and what initially looked like a funny, chatty man is slowly revealing itself to be something else entirely. It’s turning him into a flirtatious man with no boundaries whatsoever.

Whenever I open my mouth to complain, he throws his arms up in the air and tells me I’m overreacting. Overreacting would be me telling my husband never to speak to those girls again or to simply leave this marriage. Instead, I’m not even doing that. I’m asking him to give it a break. To stop it. To stop giving these single girls hope that they’ve found themselves a future husband when he is very much a married man.
He says he’s just making new friends.
How is this making new friends when it’s only with women? He doesn’t interact with the men he meets on the street this way. But with these girls, he tells them he’ll take them around the world. He texts them, “I miss you,” just minutes after meeting them. He asks them to send him their full pictures and wants to know when he’ll get to see them again.
So what exactly am I supposed to call this?
Since he insists that it’s not cheating, all my complaints have fallen on deaf ears. So now, I sit back and watch him flirt with girls of every calibre. As long as, in his mind, he’s “making friends,” then apparently it shouldn’t bother me.
But it does. I’m not comfortable with it.
I Called My Girlfriend And Another Man Answered The Phone
I don’t think it’s unreasonable to expect my husband to have boundaries with other women. I don’t think it’s too much to ask that he stop behaving like an available man when he already has a wife at home.
So I’m asking, what at all can I do to make this man stop?
