I am a Catholic, and I take my Christian life seriously. Over the years, getting closer to God and knowing His word is something I have not taken for granted.

I am beginning to think I am a witch. I don’t tell people, not even my mom and dad, that I think I am a witch because they may think I am going mental, but that is what I think it is. I think so because of the multiple dreams I have been having since I was a kid. All of those dreams I have had have come to pass, many of them. Each time it happens, it returns to me like a déjà vu. If it is not witchcraft, then what is it?

I was managing it, but the dreams are becoming too much, too heavy for me to sleep very well. Strangers and family alike, I am having dreams about them and their lives, and it is eating me up. So much so that of late, I am scared to sleep.

My mom is my best friend. I can literally tell her about everything, but not this one. It started when I was a kid, about five years old. I once told a family member about what I saw in an old room in our family house because I was spending the night there. They just brushed it off. They said I had eaten too much.

It took a distant family member who believed me when I started describing what I saw in my dreams. She is the only person who believed me.

There is something I haven’t mentioned to anyone before, not even my mom. About two months ago, a man I barely knew walked up to me and told me something. He further described what it was like being me, which felt good somehow. But I denied having that kind of supernatural power and walked away.

That is not my main problem, though.

I have dreamt of something tragic happening to a relative. How do I warn him? He won’t believe me, just like other people. He will probably laugh it off.

My mom called me and said the exact thing I saw in my dream on Saturday. She said a man of God prophesied to her. I couldn’t tell my mother that what I saw in my dream was exactly what the man of God was saying.

On a normal day, I wouldn’t have believed the man of God, but the narration matched what I saw in my dream.

I woke up from the dreams screaming Jesus’ name. That woke my roommates up from their sleep.

My mom will be worried about these dreams and may even take it out of proportion, and I don’t want that. I am already stressed. My academics are on my neck, and this dream thing is haunting me.

Someone might think I am mentally not okay, but before God and man, I am mentally sound. Because if I should tell people what I see in my dreams about them and then they happen, they will say I am mad or that I have eaten too much.

I am happy when the good ones come to pass. I pray about my dreams. I want to be free. I have been able to hide what I see in my dreams for fifteen good years. Why now? I will never forgive myself if this dream manifests and I wasn’t able to do something about it.

It has taken a lot of courage to type this. I hope whoever is making me see these strange things would stop and have mercy on me.

Please, I am just 20. I want to be free from all these. This burden is weighing me down.
