On our first date, she ordered food and drinks and ate only about 30% of the food. The food was expensive. I felt she had wasted my money. I asked her to at least bag it and take it home, and she said she wasn’t going to eat it even if she carried it home.
“Is it about the food? Is it not nice?”
She answered, “Oh, it was good, but I can’t eat everything.”
It was on that same date that I proposed, and she accepted. A few weeks later, she said she was hungry, so we should go to that same place and eat. It’s closer to her house than mine, so I got a taxi and met her there. Before I got there, she had already ordered something, but it hadn’t been served yet.
She handed me the menu and asked me to place my order. I said, “I know you won’t be able to eat, so I will wait for whatever you ordered and eat with you.”
She asked, “From the same plate? Are you serious? You want people around here to think we can’t afford the meals?”
I was surprised by her reaction. “Dear, it happens all the time. The fact that we can afford it doesn’t mean we should waste the food.”
She obviously wasn’t happy. She said she would pay for her own food, so I should buy my own food. She wasn’t happy, so I ordered my own food. Again, this girl ate less than 40% of the food, wiped her mouth, and said she was full.
When the bill came, I paid for mine and left hers. After all, she said she was going to pay. She asked, “So you’re serious about me paying for my own meal?”
I answered, “You said you would pay, or you didn’t mean it?”
“So you’re watching me pay even though I said I was going to pay?”
She asked the waitress to call out their MoMo number, and she paid. She walked away angry, and I also got a taxi home. It looks like our few weeks of relationship are coming to an end because of food. I called that evening, and she didn’t pick up. I stopped calling. It’s been four days, and she hasn’t called or texted.
Is she worth a fight and an apology?

When you are hungry, you can cook at home and eat. Do you have to go out and waste money on food you won’t finish? A good girlfriend should be worried about wasting your resources.
Let her be. She’s not serious.
Good riddance!
You should thank your stars
