After seeing my story on the page, I sat down and went through the comments myself. I read them and did some bit of retrospection. People said a lot of things. Some were insults about how I was losing a good thing. Some were mockery. But something happened that really made me believe in some of the comments. The ones that said I will lose something I can never have again for the rest of my life, if I do not let one woman go.

On Friday, my woman came home straight from her workplace. I had prepared food, so after eating she went for the dirty clothes and soaked the white ones before going to bed. I did not ask her to do so. I just watched her in her element. She woke up very early and washed all the clothes. She scrubbed the bathhouse and cleaned the whole house. She prepared my breakfast and asked what I will eat. I told her fufu and goat light soup. She quickly went to the freezer and brought out the meat. She took her bath and dressed up for the market. She was looking so beautiful in her dress for the market. She gave me a peck and left.

I went to take my bath and sat in the parlour to watch football. She came home and started preparing the food. She pounded the fufu all by herself while I drank whisky and watched football.

After she was done, she ate together with me and went to the kitchen and tidied up the place. She asked to put her head on my lap and relax. As she fell asleep like a baby, I stared at her face. And I remembered what my ex wife told me when I asked her to help me or do the house chores. She said house chores will make her look old earlier. That alone would compel me to go for a side chick, she said. I asked myself, was I ever treated like this in my marriage? Then I recalled the very day my ex-wife served me fufu and goat light soup. It was prepared by her mom and herself. She was arguing with me one day, and she told me, had it not been for a prophet who prophesied that her husband is her breakthrough, she would not have time to do that.

I have erased her memories, small. I have sent her a message that I want the divorce at the court. If she is not ready, I will take it up and finalise everything. She can take the stores and the car. All I need is the divorce.

I have made my decision. That is to be with the one I have moved on with. Janet. She is a fan of this page, and I have access to all her pages, but she does not go through my phone.

My woman. Cho cho mu cho. Janet. If you come across this story, I want you to know that all the promises I have made to you will be fulfilled by God’s grace. I will love and cherish you. I will be a good father to our kids, as you are like a mom to my daughter. Thank you for the gift you bought for her. Sometimes I wonder what type of being you are. And all I can say is thank you, Lord, for giving me such a wonderful woman.
