My wife’s elder sister lives with us. She came to stay for a while but a while now looks like forever. I don’t necessarily have issues with her stay with us but it’s her way of life that’s troubling my mind. We have two kids, five and a seven-year-old. They see their aunt as someone they can learn from yet their aunt is not giving them anything positive to learn.

The seven-year-old came to show me the drawing he had done on his arm with a pen. She said, “I’m doing what’s on aunt’s body. Is it nice?”

Their aunt has about four visible tattoos on her skin. She’s mostly in dresses that expose the area where the tattoos live. The kids see them. They think it’s nice so they want some on their skins.

That aside, when we are not home, she brings her visitors home. Most of them are men. Apart from those visitors we usually don’t see them, she’s in a serious relationship with a married man. The man comes around the house and stays in the car with her until it’s late before he leaves. My kids have taken notice so the younger one asked my wife when she’s bringing her boyfriend home.

When my wife asked where she learned that from, my daughter itirated, “Or your boyfriend doesn’t have a car that’s why he doesn’t visit you.”

She didn’t have to say where she learned that from, we already know where the sun rises and sets. My sister-in-law has been here for over seven months. I want her gone and my wife also wants her gone. My wife wants her to leave on her own accord so anytime I bring up the topic she tells me, “We don’t have to push her out. She’ll soon leave.”

Because soon never comes, she’s still here, teaching the kids their homework and also infesting them with her way of life. I want her gone as soon as possible. As a matter of fact, if I wake up tomorrow morning and she’s not here, I’ll praise God and dance for joy. I respect my wife so I want her wishes to stand regardless of that, what else can I do to speed up her leaving? It has become very urgent.
