I’m dating a lady in my office. We started dating not long ago, so the passion between us is at an all-time high. The two of us usually come to work very early, and one of these days, we arrived before everyone else. Since no one was around, we went into the ladies’ washroom and started fooling around.
Out of nowhere, the cleaner barged in on us and quickly turned back when he saw what we were doing. We hurriedly got dressed, and since I was the man, I started looking for him around the facility. When I found him, I apologized and told him it would never happen again.
He only laughed and said, “Oh bro, aren’t we both men? This is normal. Just forget about it. Tell Rosalina not to worry. No one is ever going to hear about this.”
After he said that, I gave him all the money in my wallet, about GHC500. He thanked me, and I thanked him too. Not that I completely believed him, but from the way he handled the situation, I felt I could trust his word. My girlfriend, however, has never felt comfortable around the office since that day.
Whenever she sees two people laughing, she becomes apprehensive. When she walks into meetings and everyone looks at her, she feels as though they know the truth but are choosing not to say anything.
I’ve done everything I can, but she’s still struggling with that feeling. Just yesterday, she told me she was going to resign.
I asked, “How can you resign because of this? Have you heard anyone talk about it since it happened?”
She responded, “It doesn’t mean they’re not talking about it behind our backs.”
I Called My Girlfriend And Another Man Answered The Phone
Her salary is much higher than mine because she has worked here longer and also holds a senior position. I’ve been telling her to wait until she gets another job before she resigns, but she says the embarrassment is too much for her and that she would rather stay home.
I love her. I want the best for her. If she leaves her role, a lot will go wrong. What should I do to keep her calm and relaxed until she hopefully gets a better offer before leaving?
