My girlfriend came to tell me she was leaving. I didn’t do anything wrong, and she accepted that it wasn’t my fault she was leaving. “I know you’re a good guy. You deserve better than a woman who’s indecisive like me.”

I asked, “Are you happy you’re doing this?”
She answered, “I’m not happy, but it’s for the best for both of us.”
I knew the reason she was leaving but she didn’t know that I know. She had been talking to a guy in the USA for a month. The conversation started on Facebook and later moved to WhatsApp. The guy said he lived in Ghana but had gone to the USA for a short business trip and would be back soon.
She asked the guy to send a picture, and the guy did. When she asked the guy to have a conversation on the phone, the guy told her he worked in a security area and would call her after he had left.
The guy left voice notes. He proposed to her using voice note and she accepted. The guy said he was coming to Ghana and the two of them would be traveling to places. He promised to pay her fees and also get her a new place to live.
A week before the guy’s supposed arrival, she came to break up with me so she would have time to be with this new rich guy coming from the US to turn her life around.
After our breakup conversation, I laughed and wished her well. She didn’t understand why I was laughing.
That new guy she had been speaking with for the past month was actually my fake account. She wasn’t clever. She fell easily for the glittering things the fake account promised her. If she were smarter, she would have noticed a red flag when the guy wouldn’t talk to her on the phone but would send only voice notes. Even the voice notes I sent, I tried so hard to change my voice, but if you listened carefully enough, you would notice it was me.
She couldn’t figure all this out and left me for greener pastures.
Men Don’t Like It When Women Do The Paying
A week later, I called her with the fake WhatsApp account. I burst out laughing. She still didn’t notice until I talked. “So in your head, you’re leaving me for a burger, abi? Welcome to the other side.” She chuckled and cut the call quickly.
Maybe she blocked all my lines because after that, I couldn’t reach her again.
Herh, this relationship game is not easy ooo. You blink for a second and you lose the woman you love to the guy with money. It’s ripe. She should go and eat. Forkin girl!
